Week 4:Grammer Girl Response

The Grammar Girl's suggestions were interesting to hear although some of them seemed unnecessary to me, to elaborate on that the one where she suggests reading backwards from finish to start. I tried it for a little while but then things just got out of wack, it started to get a little confusing. The "print" suggestion is a fair proof reading tip. That way you can get a chance to see your work up close and make notes or mark on it if you need to. But that's not always an option, sometimes the work has to be rushed or a printer might not be available the particular time.
I put two together and found that it was the most effective. The reading out loud suggestion worked in my favor mostly because that;s how I read. When I read in my head for some reason my mouth says the words but my mind doesn't it's like it wonders off thinking of other things while I'm still saying the words. The fresh start suggestion I'm sure most of my classmates used because it's recommended we try the four suggestions on our first un-graded assignment and I haven't read that in forever. I found a number of errors in my assignment one of which was in the title of my work, making errors right away, imagine that. But most if those errors were minor but still counts.
